What is Baracoda Media’s Pingo Solution ?
The main goal of the Pingo solution is to develop a set of tools extending the coverage of digital television. To ensure, quickly and at low cost, indoor coverage of digital television:
- The DVB-T or DVB-H stream is recovered near a window
- Video and EPG streams are then transcoded to suit the target devices capabilities
- Finally, optimized output streams are smartly redistributed all over the house to Wi-Fi enabled devices (Mobile Phones, PCs, Media Players…).
