September 2009, Baracoda Media has been awarded by Microsoft France for winning the KickApps projects proposal with Bradio application.

Setting up & development of Orange FT  multi-support radio service Liveradio, now the largest online radio aggregator with over 11,000 radio stations and 5,000 podcasts, available on smart phones as well as through all Orange FT European webportals, Vista gadgets, WiFi radio devices and all Internet connected LG TV sets.

Objective : To set up, develop, monitor and manage of Liveradio on multiple interfaces and supports (web portal, WiFi radio device and widgets) in line with the service evolution requirements (smartphone applications, Vista/iGoogle widgets, LG TV service, etc.)

Action : At the beginning of 2007, Baracoda Media set up Liveradio on a dedicated web portal and WiFi radio devices via its media platform. Baracoda Media’s main objective remains to fulfil all client service evolution requests and also be present in all new product and new technology markets, as with the Liveradio iPhone application in 2008, or with the Liveradio iGoogle widget in 2009.

The Baracoda Media database contains over 11,000 radio stations and 5,000 podcasts from all over the world. Through Liveradio, Baracoda Media manages 90,000 unique listeners  per day (including 60,000 through mobile services) and 800,000 unique listeners per month (including 385,000 through mobile services), with an average streaming session duration of 45 minutes on the Liveradio iPhone application.

Action : Baracoda Media develops an iPhone application which offers access to 11,000 radio stations, 5,000 podcasts and real-time content information about the track, artist, show, presenter and schedule while preserving the appropriate RadioMee services.

A great mix of appealing content and innovative, easy-to-use functionnalities:

1. The home page including the RadioMee services:

• News in conjunction with AFP
• Weather forecasts by location in conjunction with Météo France
• Horoscopes: personalised sign display based on date of birth
• Latest Radio: gives access to the latest radio station listened to

2. Radios & Podcasts sections:
