In November 2008, Baracoda Media and its partner Sophiacom support NRJ Group in designing and developping their brand-oriented iPhone Applications (NRJ, Chérie FM, Nostalgie, Rire et Chansons) for their listeners to enjoy NRJ group stations and podcasts through such as an ergonomic and versatile device as the iPhone remains.

Transcribe the NRJ world onto iPhone and iPod Touch through a dedicated application offering access to all NRJ Group, FM and webradio stations : NRJ, Chérie FM, Nostalgie, Rire et Chansons ; and also podcasts as well as all NRJ content information.

Objective : Create a digital, mobile, interactive product which presents and gives access to all NRJ content.

Action : In December 2008, Baracoda Media launched for NRJ Group the NRJ iPhone application which enables listeners to access NRJ radios, podcasts and content anywhere 24 hour a day.

NRJ iPhone application is made available for free to all iPhone and iPod Touch users, wether connected to 3G, Edge or WiFi.

NRJ iPhone application gives access to all NRJ Group FM radios: NRJ, Chérie, FM, Nostalgie or Rire et Chansons. In addition, you can listen to a wide range of NRJ music webradios: NRJ Hits, NRJ Dance, NRJ Pop/Rock, NRJ Rap, NRJ French…

The application is not just about radio streaming: it also proposes access, via different options and categories, to track, album and artist information.

All NRJ podcasts are available from the NRJ iPhone application.
